Dee Zee Airsoft Presents The Throuple Invitational

We wanted to bring the community Saskatchewan's first ever Speedsoft style tournament. Fast paced action, in an intense 3v3 Speedsoft field! And lets not forget about the cash prizes!

Hosted at Divide N Conquer Paintball Inc, in Saskatoon Saskatchewan. SEPTEMBER 14th 2024 (One day tournament). 

OVERVIEW

Tickets will be sold on an individual basis. Each ticket is priced at $50.00ea (CAD). Tickets can be purchased here.

THIS IS A PRE PAID EVENT

This will be a 3on3 style Speedsoft tournament. It is Encouraged that players register as teams. But Individuals can also be placed on teams during registration. When registering please state team name to keep all team members together. Games will be played as 3v3 but teams can also register additional players as alternate/back up players if needed. As this is a 1 day event we are limiting teams to a max of 30. We want to maximize playtime and allow for the event to end in a timely manor.

Onsite Camping is available as well with some guidelines and rules to follow. There will be no fires of any kind. Camp stoves are acceptable as long as used under close supervision. The filed has provided 2 full sized BBQs to be available as well. There will be  porta potties on site, but no running water. Plug in power is limited. Campers are allowed to set up on Friday (Sept 13th 2024).

Food Vendor and Dee Zee Booth on site! The Dee Zee booth will be providing a tech table with tools to be used as needed. However there will be no tech services on site available. 

SCHEDULE

SEPTEMBER 14th 2024

This will be a 1 day tournament. Scheduling will be strict and held above all. Times are based off local Saskatchewan time (Central Standard Time)

Gates Open 7am

Registration and Chrono 8am 

Debrief and reminders 10:30am

Round robin placement matches 11am to 4pm 

Finals Start 4:30pm to 6pm (Top 16 teams)

Give-away, raffle prizes, and socializing to follow finals.

Sunday Sept 15th will include a walk on skirmish games from 10am to 2pm for an additional $20 to be paid on site, day of. 

GAMEPLAY

 3 on 3 Speedsoft style play. There will be one game mode for this event. Each team will have a chance to secure points during play. Point structure is as follows

• First Touch (1pt) First team to take possession of the centre flag
• Elimination (3 pts) Eliminate all opposing players (results in match ending) 
• Hang Flag (5 pts) Capture/retrieve the centre flag and place on flag holder of opposing team (results in match ending).
• The team with the highest point count at the end of the competition will receive a special prize!

Each match will have players competing to get to the flag first, Eliminating players, or hanging the flag on the enemy side of map. Once placement of flag OR elimination of ALL enemy players is complete the match is over. Each match has a maximum time limit of 3 minutes. There will be  2 minutes downtime between matches. After each match there will be an announcement for which teams are currently playing, which teams are next, and which teams are on deck. It is the players/team responsibilities to be on time and ready to go for the match. Failure to have a full team prior to match will result in playing short handed. Failure for any team members to show up will result if a forfeit. The opposing team will be awarded 3pts (based on elimination rules). 

Each player and every gun the player plans on using. Will be required to be chrono'd and tagged/marked as cleared prior to game start. Failure to present tagged/mark gun will result in team playing short handed.

Players are to use the honor system when calling hits. Once a player is hit they are to raise their gun/hand/kill rag and stand off to the side lines till play is over. Eliminated players are not to communicate with any players in play till the match is over. Every match will have 4-6 referees watching the match. Refs are authorized to call out eliminations if the player fails to do so. Failure to comply with the ref on an elimination call will result in a point reduction of 1.  Further disputes with refs on elimination calls will result in team forfeiting the match and a point reduction of 3. 

 RULES

Face and ear protection is required. No exceptions! Dye masks, mesh masks with ear an face protection, mesh masks with headphone hearing protection, etc.

ANSI rated eye protection is required! Mesh goggles are not acceptable eyewear.

Guns will be limited to 375fps with .20g BBs(1.3joules) with a max of 20 RPS. SEMI AUTO ONLY! No binary triggers. Gun classifications will be limited to AR's, Pistols, and Submachine Guns. NO Shotguns, Machine Guns, launchers, grenades, or bolt actions. NO melee weapons. HPA adapters are allowed. Free HPA fills on site.

PRIZES

Cash prize donated by Dee Zee Airsoft. Winnings are as follows 

1st place - $600/team

2nd place - $400/team

3rd place - $150/team

The team with the highest point count at the end of the competition will receive a special prize!

There will also be raffle prizes available. Every registered competitor will get a free raffle ticket. Additional raffle tickets can also blue purchased.
